About Laura

Laura Ann Lang

As a child with undiagnosed ADHD and dyslexia, I thought I was dumb because I couldn’t keep up with my classmates.

When I reached middle school everything changed. Moving from room to room for different subjects became a form of time blocking. Once I found success in a few subjects, I realized that certain organizational tricks could be used in harder subjects as well. I also came to recognize that my brain just works differently than other people. It takes me longer to make sense out of my work, but I eventually got the results that I wanted. Within a few years, using these techniques, I became a straight-A student.

The skills I learned to help manage my ADHD also propelled me into positions of leadership in several jobs prior to the age of 20.

After having children, I decided to quit work and be a full-time mom. I used my skills in various volunteer roles, including leadership positions in my church.

Then, after 20+ years of dedicating my life to my husband and five kids, I suddenly faced life as a single mom with no idea how I could support myself. I owned a small business but it was not enough to live on.  Fortunately, I found a business coach that helped me with the next right steps. After implementing the tools that he gave me, my business grew and I had hope for my future. Within a few years my business blossomed giving me a six-figure income, a new car and the ability to buy a home on my own. All while working part-time from home as a single mom. My dream of being a business owner and of being self-sufficient had become a reality.

In addition to the help I got from my business coach, I also grew in my personal life due in part to working with a healing coach.  In 2017, I met Jess Lang and learned how to fall in love again. In 2018 we were married in a small ceremony in Las Vegas in the LDS temple. It took time, but the I'm living a life I only dreamed of all those years ago.

I have always loved helping others. I have served both children and adults in my church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) in various teaching and leadership capacities. I decided that my next step was to become a coach to help others on their way to success. I truly believe that there is so much untapped potential in everyone. It is my dream to see growth in others as they take the steps to reach their dreams. I completed wellness coach training through The Wellness Inventory in 2012, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2018 and I have completed certification with Ahava training program in 2023 and the Life Coach Training Institute in 2024.  I look forward to helping you find the next right steps to bring you the success that you most desire. Whether you are looking for help with your career, your health, or your relationships, working with a coach will help you get past the hurdles that are holding you back. It’s time to start dreaming again.
